Joy C. Mitchell spent 2019 as the writer on-location in England covering set for production of Shondaland’s hit series Bridgerton. She began her career as a music journalist, travel blogger, and content writer for tech startups. Her writing has been published in Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, and Teen Vogue among others. She earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Emerson College and graduated with honors in Print Journalism from USC.
Joy is an expat who has lived in Berlin, Germany since 2014 while also splitting time between London and LA. She's an expert in the European craft beer scene and has visited 27 countries in the last five years as a solo traveler. She is running out of empty passport pages, and speaks fluent “restaurant & bar” German.
