About Joy C. Mitchell
Joy C. Mitchell is a London-based, Los Angeles-born screenwriter, producer, copywriter, and journalist who worked on the hit Netflix drama series “Bridgerton.” She also wrote for “Alex Rider” (Amazon Prime), "The Letter for the King” (Netflix), "Deutschland 86" (Sundance & Amazon Prime) which was the second season of the Emmy award-winning international TV drama series "Deutschland 83." Currently, she has an unannounced TV project in development with FilmNation and is writing a feature film for Amazon Germany. Joy C. Mitchell is represented by 3Arts (Los Angeles), The Agency (London) and Morris Yorn Law.
In addition to writing television, she freelances as an entertainment and travel journalist. Her writing has been published in Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, and Teen Vogue among others.
She earned an Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Emerson College and graduated with honors in Print Journalism from the Annenberg School at USC.
